VIVAnews - In theory, very easy recipe making rainbows. Enough with sunny skies, little sunshine and water, a rainbow can be made. However, it creates a rainbow that can be raised repeatedly is not easy.
After experimenting for 8 years, Michael Jones McKean, an artist and a professor from Virginia Commonwealth University had perfected techniques rainbow creation he called "Rainbow Project" that can be made at home.
As quoted from Discovery, January 12, 2011, using electric pumps, hoses, and spray from irrigation equipment, McKean spraying water to bring rain and produce a rainbow to order. Condition should be sunny weather.
At each end of the rainbow, McKean put in charge of the storage tank to collect the 'rain' that could be used to create a rainbow in the future.
Rainbow creation McKean can be present for about 15 minutes at a time. The length and height of the arch of the rainbow can be made until it reaches about 60 meters. Depending on weather conditions, human-style rainbow can be seen from a distance of about 300 meters.
"Rainbow is a phenomenon that is we know it rarely has emerged," says McKean. "With the possibility of making a rainbow, a rainbow can be expected to evoke the imagination of visitors who see it and make the moment it is present every day," he said.
